Windows Vista is Microsoft's new desktop operating system that replaces Windows XP. As you will be aware if you have tried to purchase a new PC recently, more PCs are now being supplied with Vista instead of XP.

It is important if you run a network with Windows servers and you login in to a domain to make sure you purchase a PC with a version of Windows Vista Business and not Windows Vista Home.

If you are thinking of installing Vista on any current PCs we strongly suggest you download the Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor to check hardware compatibility.

It is also crucial to check all of your software applications are Vista compatible. We have found many accounts, banking & bespoke applications will not work with Vista. We suggest you contact your software suppliers to check.
